Steve Wood

This is Steve, he is our optician. An optician is a licensed health care practitioner who provides lenses for the correction of a refractive error. When you are in need of glasses, he will consult with you about what lenses and frames would be best. Our office offers over 600 frame choices; they are affordable, pracitcal and stylish. As technology advances so, too, do eyeglass lenses. Would a lined bifocal suffice? or would you prefer a progressive (no line bifocal)? There are many variables in frame and lense selection and  Steve has over 18 years in opthlamic dispensing and will walk you through the process of picking out glasses from start to finish. Before attending Matter Dei College, Steve served 14 years as a combat engineer and received the rank of staff sergeant. He graduated from Matter Dei in 1998 with his degree in opthalmic dispensing. With 18 years working with a private practice and 2 years in retail stores, he is a qualified and caring optician who is here to help you.

Our patients can also stop in and have their glasses adjusted free of charge, if a nosepad or temple cover is damaged either call or stop in and we will be happy to help....
